Author Resource Hub Walkthrough

A little tour of my free-to-use resource hub for authors and writers

My head may be messy but my writing life is organised… 😆

I use Notion to organise all my character, plot and book information. Everything from images to ISBN numbers are all filed away ready for when I need them.

But I also use it to host the Author Resource Hub.

This started out as my own list of resources that I used on a regular basis but didn’t want to have open in a ton of tabs on my desktop. But then I realised that other authors might find it useful too, and because Notion allows you to share pages as standalone websites, the Author Resource Hub was born.

You’ll find websites, podcasts, courses, templates, books… and the debut authors section where I promote new authors and their first published book.

There’s a link to the hub in the sidebar of my Substack homepage on desktop and it’s also in my welcome email when you subscribe. But if you’re anything like me, you’re not going to click unless you think there’s something there that’s worth visiting 😆

So I’ve made this little walkthrough video to show you what to expect if you do click the link. Oh and it’s completely free to use. Feel free to share this post with any other authors you think might find it useful.

What would you add?

Let me know in the comments what your favourite resources are, and if any are missing from the hub I’ll add them in.

Are you a debut author?

I’d love to feature you! Pop a comment below and I’ll be in touch to gather all your lovely book details (yup, that’s free too).
